Learning Through Rhythm with Ta Ke Ti Na - Rhythm for Evolution Ta Ke Ti Na is a rhythmic process that involves a facilitator, a drummer, and a group of people who are singing, stepping and clapping simultaneously.
Why explore and experience rhythm? · To encounter one’s primal rhythmic knowledge · To experience deep relaxation and vitalization of the nervous system and the body’s rhythm · To better understand and accept one’s learning style · To learn to trust self and others · To explore a musical group process that dissolves behavior patterns which have been inhibiting our lives and relationships · All life is rhythm. Human beings are living representations of that rhythm because the body itself is the primal instrument. Learning rhythm and music through the Ta Ke Ti Na process means learning about life. Realms of life that have been previously separated begin to reintegrate: emotions and rational thoughts, intuitive feelings and cognitive action, passivity and activity, outer movements and inner silence, all meet in the simultaneity of rhythmic flow. The mind calms and an encounter with the inner self becomes possible.
